How to order

We hope to make your shopping experience with us as easy as possible. There are 4 steps to buying on sportywomen.co.uk:

1. Find The Items
The home page is the best place to start your shopping with sportywomen.co.uk. On the left hand side you will find links to the main categories of the shop. Clicking on a category will allow you to browse all the products within. By clicking on any of the products within the category a description of the chosen product will be displayed.

Alternatively you can use the search facility that you will find here or by clicking the "Search" link at the top of the page. Enter the item you are looking for, and click the 'continue' link to the right of the search box to see a list of matching results within the shop.

2. Add to Shopping Bag
Before you can purchase an item you need to add the item(s) to the shopping bag. To do this, click on the “Add to basket” button for the item you want. You will then be taken to the shopping bag where you will see all the items you have selected. You then have the option to continue with your shopping or to proceed to the Checkout to purchase the item(s) in your shopping bag.

You can check what is in your bag at any time by clicking on the "My Bag" link at the top of the screen. If you want to remove something, simply tick the 'remove' box next to the item in your shopping bag that you wish to remove, and then click the 'update' button. This will then remove the products which you "ticked" to be removed.

3. Proceed to Checkout
When you have all the items you wish to purchase in your shopping bag, it is recommended that you read the terms and conditions, shipping information and privacy policy, then go to your bag and click the "checkout" button which will then take you to the payment area to pay for your selected items which you have placed in your shopping bag.

To order on the web:
You will first need to register your details and create an account within the online shop. Registration is quick and easy. If you have previously registered you need only need to enter your e-mail address and password to continue, this will then pre-fill most of the checkout requirements for you based on the information supplied during previous orders and the details stored in your account with the shop. Otherwise you will need to set up a new account by filling in the simple form provided.

For your convenience, you may enter an alternative delivery address and any other specific details on the account and checkout pages in the applicable areas which are clearly represented.

4. Paying for Your Goods
It is recommended that you check the details of the items you are ordering before making your purchase. Clicking on the "Continue" button takes you through the required pages to the point at which you can enter your payment details and complete your order securely online. You will need to choose from one of the card types that we accept for online payments. We accept Paypal, Google checkout, MasterCard, Visa and Switch cards, along with other major cards.


Out of stock items
In the event that your ordered or exchanged item is out of stock we will contact you immediately to discuss alternative options.

Delivery policy
  • We endeavour to despatch ALL orders placed before 2pm, Monday to Friday the same day by First Class Mail, subject to payment card authorisation and stock availability. If you place an order after 2.00pm we will still try to despatch that day but if we can't your order will be despatched the following day. Orders placed after 2.00pm on Friday or over the weekend will be despatched on Monday. Items ordered over a bank holiday will be despatched on the next working day.
  • You will receive an e-mail telling you that your items have been dispatched and your account will be updated with the most recent status of your items.
  • All deliveries will be made according to the carriers' standard procedures. For standard delivery, a signature should not be required. However, packages which will not fit through your letter box may be taken back to the postal depot for collection. Please note that where a signature is required, orders cannot be sent to PO Box addresses.
  • Should you require clarification on what happens if no-one is available to receive the goods, and/or a signature is required, please contact the carrier direct.
  • On the very rare occasion an item is lost or not delivered we are bound by the terms of our carriers and will have to wait 15 working days for delivery. We will however track it and in most instances we are able to trace where and when an item was delivered and solve the problem in a much shorter time frame.

Rest of the World

Please note that at this time we are unable to deliver items outside of UK and Europe. 
Should we receive an order request from any US or other customer, based outside of UK and Europe we will cancel the order automatically and process a full refund within 48 hours of receiving notification of your order.

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS

Sportywomen.co.uk offers a 100% guarantee that if you are in any way dissatisfied with the product you have ordered or need a different size, we will exchange them or give you a full refund, provided that they are returned to us in the original condition and packaging, unworn and unwashed, with all labels intact within 28 days of date of purchase . All goods returned as faulty, will be inspected for a manufacturing defect. If deemed faulty, a full refund or exchange will be given.

Refunds will be credited back to the card used to pay for the original order. You will receive notification of the refund via e-mail as soon as we have processed your refund. In some cases this may take up to 21 days.

Exchanges are processed and despatched as soon as possible and are free of charge . If your exchange is urgent, please contact us by email or telephone so that we can check size availability and hold the required item(s) for you. You can also choose to send your return by first class or overnight post (please make sure you have added sufficient postage to the package) and request first class or overnight despatch for which a charge of £5.00 will be made.

If you have requested a replacement item of a lower value than the returned goods, we will credit the difference to the card used to pay for the original order. We will let you know as soon as the refund has been processed.

If you have requested replacement items of a higher value, we will contact you to take card information for the additional balance.

Returns period
In line with the EU Distance Selling Directive (April 2005 update) we provide all customers with a 7 day cooling-off period following receipt of goods and an unconditional right to cancel their order during this period. This does not affect your statutory rights.

You can return the goods to us anytime up to 21 days of receipt for an exchange, credit or refund. Please note if you have purchased an item on sale we can only offer an exchange or credit. To enable us to process your returned goods please make sure the items are in the condition you bought it in, i.e. in a re-sellable condition. This means that it is unused, unworn, and without any marks (i.e. deodorant, food, grease, make-up etc). Please take care to avoid scenting the garment(s) with perfume, and please also ensure all labels are kept. Regrettably we cannot refund any item until we receive it. Please allow 2 weeks from sending your returned goods for us to process your refund, exchange or credit note.

 

In the unlikely event that your goods are damaged or faulty you are of course entitled to a full refund / replacement, including the cost of sending the item(s) back. Again, please ensure the item is returned within 21 days. All returned sale items will be refunded via a credit note to the customer’s account. This may be taken against future purchase of an equal or higher value.
